Proven Two Can Sail Couples Cruisers for Sale
(We’ve sold everything else!)
Two Can Sailors who have finished with their adventures cruising are now offering their boats for sale (from various listing brokers). These boats were vetted by Jeff & Jean before our couples bought them, often surveyed by us, and have just returned from cruising and are all ready to go right back out again with the right couple! These boats are unique in that Jeff & Jean know their history, they are equipped specifically for couples cruising, are in very good condition, and the selling couples are fellow Two Can Sailors who’ll be happy to help you transition on to your new cruising home. Please take a look at these and let Jeff & Jean know if you are interested in pursuing one of these fine yachts.
We are Certified Yacht Brokers that can help you find the right boat, negotiate and close the deal, and get settled on your new boat, all at no cost to you, the Seller pays the commission.
There is much more to consider when choosing a boat and it is a very personal decision. We’ll ask you a lot of questions about where you intend to sail and how you are planning to use the boat and what your budget plan is for both the boat and the cruising kitty. We will help you develop your own spreadsheet and wade through the multiplicity of boats on the market to narrow down your selection. We can preview some of the boats you have selected and perhaps save you from yourself if the boat doesn’t measure up to standards before you sign the contract.
We have Captained more than 180 different model boats both monohull and catamaran from sixteen feet to eighty five feet so the chances are good we have spent real sea time on the vessel you are looking for. In addition, we have sailed extensively on the Atlantic and Caribbean seas as well as providing couples with training on their first voyage from Houston to Buffalo along the ICW. This makes us uniquely qualified to help you choose everything from the maximum draft of the vessel to the maximum mast height. After owning our cruising boat for fifteen years and living aboard we can also help you decide what equipment the boat should have on board. Plus advise you of the possible pitfalls of how some boats are equipped to save you from extensive refit cost after the purchase. We have operated many different types of navigation equipment, from Furuno, to Garmin and Raymarine so we can give you a detailed explanation of the equipment and what you may want to change or add.
