Learn how to take the drama out of your dream from choosing the right boat to sailing away in harmony.
Annapolis: Cruisers University 2024
The goal and objective of these Cruising Seminars is to give you the tools and perspectives you need as a couple to safely pursue the cruising lifestyle. We have varied experience and background allowing us to present you with a balanced educational experience. We are a couple who are also Captains, ASA Instructors, Authors, and Marine Surveyors (retired). This is not designed to be a whole day of power point presentations, we hope to balance the hard data with some fun, lots of good information mixed in with some sea stories and fantastic photos, all of us sharing our expertise to help you make your dream a reality. We have collaborated on a seminar companion guide, which is our gift to each couple. We hope you will view boats and equipment through a new outlook as a more educated consumer.

Jeff and Jean,
Rich and I wanted you to know how much your seminar prepared us for our sailing “Adventure”. We attended your seminar in 2011 at the Miami Boat Show. The materials presented, as well as the “extras” you sent home with us have been used in all aspects of our sailing – from purchasing our 43′ C&C Landfall, to our 11 months sailing in the Bahamas. We just returned from our 2 1/2 year “Adventure” cruising from Green Turtle Bay Marina on Lake Barkley in KY, down the rivers to Mobile AL, around Florida to the Keys, up to Fort Pierce and then over to the Bahamas for 11 months, back to FL, and then home by semi to Lake Barkley. Our purchase, preparation, and travels were made much safer, affordable, and more relaxed with the knowledge we acquired from your class. We would recommend that any sailing couple contemplating living aboard enroll in your course as it is the best bang for your money you will ever get when it comes to boating!!! Again, Great Job. The information presented was absolutely a great base of knowledge to build upon. And yes, you were dead on as Rich pushed the buttons while I read the directions. LOL
All our best, Safe Sailing in all your travels, Rich and Theresa
